Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

General Item Returns

You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping cost). Members are responsible for checking thermostat compatibility prior to placing an order. Incompatible thermostats and items may not be eligible for a return. Upon receipt a credit equal to the product purchase price will be issued to you through the same payment method you used to pay for the order. See Returns Process below.

AMC will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or damaged item, etc.). 

Return Process

1. Items must be returned within 30 days of invoice to be eligible for credit. 

2. Returned items must be received by the supplier AM Conservation (AMC) in new condition and in the original packaging to be eligible for a refund. 

3. AMC will send you Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) documentation which must be placed inside the return shipment package and RMA number printed on each package in order for returned material to be received at AMC. 

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond with instructions for how to return items from your order.

 

Electric Vehicle Charger Returns

You may request a return for your EV Charger within 30 days of receiving the product. Opened or installed units that are not in the original condition are not eligible for a return. There is a 10% restocking fee for all EV Charger Returns. Please contact us to begin your return process.


Incorrectly Shipped Orders

Eligible Time Period: Inspect your order within 2 business days from delivery date. If you received items, you did not order, we will send you a prepaid shipping label for you to return the incorrectly shipped merchandise and provide you with a replacement.


Damaged Item Returns

Eligible Time Period: Inspect your order within 2 business days from delivery date. If an order has arrived damaged, please contact us, within 2 business days of delivery date. AMC will ship replacements at no cost. Some items, such as smart thermostats, will need to be returned to AMC prior to a replacement being sent. AMC will notify you if any of the damaged items need to be returned and will send you a prepaid shipping label to do so.

 

Not Received

If you have not received your order but tracking shows delivered, please reach out to customer support. If your tracking has not moved longer than 10 days AMC will provide you with a replacement. If tracking has expired, we will not be able to provide a replacement. 


Defective Items

Smart thermostats need to be deemed defective by manufacture and a case number needs to be provided in order to proceed.

Shipping

Standard shipping time for most items are 5-7 business days. Shipping time for EV Chargers are 4-6 weeks. After your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email to the email you used while registering for your account. Once your order has shipped, you will receive another email with your tracking number.

For standard orders if you do not receive a shipment confirmation within 1 week or your package within 2 weeks, feel free to contact customer support. If you do not receive your EV charger within 6 weeks, please contact us.

The store is set up to only allow for shipping to your service address and all products purchased must be installed at this service address. If you need to ship your items to an alternate shipping address, please contact us to add your additional shipping address to your account before placing your order. Please note we cannot ship outside of your cooperative service territory or to PO boxes.

Products may ship separately.
